Domenica Montero episode 14-1/2 to 16

I’m just going to bang out an outline and some thoughts and flesh things out. This is a great novela and there’s a lot going on, so I’m going through the episodes fast - it’s too much to try to keep everything in strict chronological order and describe every scene. I’m going to cover these two and a half episodes kind of as one block. I’ll place things that I know come later near the end of the recap, but please forgive if things jump around. Domenica Montero episodes 12-14-1/2

 Domenica Montero episode 12, 13, part of 14. This is a from-memory, out of order, possibly not completely accurate English language recap of the telenovela Domenica Montero. This blog is meant to be a supplement to the telenovela blog Caray Caray. We return to the Laguna or body of water where Domenica has decided to take a dip. She took her top off and is peacefully swimming when she sees that “uncomfortable neighbor” (vecino incómodo) Luis Fernando in the water too! She accuses him of spying on her, he protests too much, says he’s rather kiss her horse. This prompts her to impulsively kiss him, a kiss he most definitely and enthusiastically reciprocates. Then all of a sudden Domenica comes to her senses, says “what am I doing?” and “This is not me!” as Luis looks at her with a stunned, deer-in-the-headlights expression. Domenica Montero English recap episodes 10-11

 Domenica Montero episodios 10-11 Please note that this is a supplement to the Caray Caray blog of telenovela recaps in English. Also, please note that I only have an intermediate Spanish level, so there may be errors. Please don’t hesitate to correct any mistakes in the comments! Events may be described out of order; I’m just writing a stream-of-consciousness style recap of what I remember.   We resume with Domenica bickering with Luis about the tearing down of the fences that keep her cows from getting water from the Laguna. He warns her that he won’t be letting it happen again. And he’s right; he and Prudencio are waiting with rifles when Genero and his men saunter up later to bust down the fences to water the cattle. There’s a kerfuffle, and later Generó shows Domenica a bullet hole in his hat and says Luis did it.   Domenica Montero recap ep 9  This is  a  from-memory recap and may be referencing events from previous episodes: please don’t assume everything I write is accurate; my Spanish vocabulary and grammar level is at best intermediate. This page is meant to be a supplement to the Caray Caray blog of English language recaps of Spanish telenovelas. Episode 9 (más o menos) Earlier, Kiki put a spider in Domenica’s bra drawer (not kidding - it’s nestled among her dainties) and Domenica got bit just as Luis came over to rip her a new one over tearing down his fences near the Laguna.
